Accountability Reports District 38 Lewis-Palmer School District 38 has grown steadily throughout the 1990s and into the new century and currently enrolls approximately 5,000 students. It is predicted that growth will slow somewhat and that the district will not grow much beyond 8,000 students when current and future subdivisions are built out. Only time will tell whether or not these predictions are valid. The district has a twenty-year growth plan that is updated from time to time and needs to be reviewed yearly to monitor predictions and projections. The Lewis-Palmer scores on the SAT are impressive, but especially so in light of the number of students taking the exams. The average Lewis-Palmer math score of 571 is particularly noteworthy and is the highest math score posted in the district over a nine year history.
