Accountability Reports District 12
Cheyenne Mountain District Twelve offers a rigorous and rich standards-driven
curriculum to students kindergarten through twelfth grade. Courses
are offered in all core content areas as well as the visual and performing
arts, foreign languages, business, health and physical education.
Eligible students have access to honors and advanced placement courses,
vocational education classes through Pikes Peak Community College,
and elementary gifted programs as well as resources to assist those
who need specialized instructional support.
Mission Statement: "A Community Partnership: As we strive to provide
a safe learning environment, we empower each student to be a contributing
citizen by assuring personal and intellectual development." We expect
every school, every classroom, every student to achieve. No exceptions.

Scholastic Excellence
- 92% of the Cheyenne Mountain High School Class of 2001 graduates
are attending Colleges and Universities.
- Over $3,625,000 in scholarships offered to Class of 2001 graduates.
- 84% of the Advanced Placement Tests administered scored a 3
or higher on a 5 point scale.
- In the National Merit Scholarship Competition, Cheyenne Mountain
High School had:
- Two National Merit Scholars
- Three National Merit Finalists
- Nine Letters of Commendation
